ok maybe his is, and mine isn’t.
either way, check out these suhweet shots by vincent laforet. plz correct me if i’m wrong, but i think most of these are taken by hangin out of a helicopter with a lensbaby.
try ur hardest to ignore the terrible slideshow viewer that forgets the fact you have it paused when you go to the next slide. try hard. it’s very very annoying.

I think he used a tilt-shift lens – he does some explaining about it here: http://www.nytimes.com/packages/html/magazine/20070531_VINCENT_FEATURE/blocker.html
So technically, a lens baby is a tilt shift lens, so I just read. This page does some explaining about how it works: http://www.cheapshooter.com/2007/08/24/tilt-shift-photography-its-a-small-world-after-all/
PS tutorial on how to fake this technique without a special lens: http://recedinghairline.co.uk/tutorials/fakemodel/
thanks for the links, nate. i had seen the laforet audio ss before, but hadn’t checked out the tutorial on faking the models. interesting. thanks.
