alright, so i don’t really roll with nicholas kristof but i did hang with him, casey parks (“win a trip w/ nick kristof” winner), and naka nathaniel (international editor) while recording a piece set to run tomorrow, i believe.

much more to come, i know i haven’t explained much, like what happened to my book after she took a tall drink, but i will actually post words soon. for now i wanna see how larger pics look w/ the new layout. let me know what u think.

so this morning i was enjoying one of my few rituals – drinking coffee while browsing the morning news – and i looked down at my laptop and was like, “what’s up mofo?”

“i’m tired from all this photoshopping, flash and other bullshit,” said my beautiful baby.

“whoa, babe” i responded, “you’re a laptop so stfu.”

then i poured a tall, piping hot coffee all up on that slut. regardless of whether or not my laptop was talking back – it was an accident and i regret it. she’s now badly burned and i don’t think she’s gonna pull through. this is a devastating time for both me and state farm, which is handling my claim.

i’ve recently started f’n around with photoshop droplets and they’re making it much easier for me to create these slideshows. now i just need to write a small php script and we’ll be in action.

this is another slideshow from the flamingo salt flats in the chilean desert. god that trip was rad.

so this past weekend my little brother and his gfriend jackie came out to visit my in the nyc. it was a rockin good time. we went and hung out at different places. we played big buck hunter pro. we went to the museum of modern art. we checked out central park. we checked out the festival in little italy.

we obviously did quite a lot.

the following photo i find quite interesting. i’ll try to find out what piece of art that is at the moma. it was one of jackie’s favs if i remember correctly (which i very well may not).

went to ground zero today, even though i felt like shit. it was good to go. there were a lot of sad people there. there were also a lot of spirited people and a lot of angry people. it was interesting speaking with different people – not about 9/11 – and just seeing what kinda mood they were in. some people seemed the same as ever. others you could tell.

pretty sunset.

yo so i’m on facebook. mostly it was a way for me to keep in contact w/ my little bro and sis. now i just use it to stalk peeps. fortunately, my job just got way, way easier. facebook now tells me everything anybody in my group of friends does. anything… like facebook emailed me the other day when my buddy isaac took a shit. i was like… “why u gotta do that facebook?”

anyway, my friend fred stutzman, a bright young fellow who is inventing marvelous things (claimid) has an excellent post describing how facebook broke its culture.

now i gotta go figure out how to make facebook stop telling me about isaac’s private matters.

i have no idea what happened to my post about paragliding. it seems to have diappeared. that’s somewhat odd.
